ISPS 2023
Annual Conference on Information Storage and Processing Systems (ISPS)
This was my first time attending an international conference! We held a two-day event in Milpitas, California, where I was honored to receive the Graduate Student Fellowship for my presentation titled "Gallium-Doped Zinc Oxide with Silver Nanowire Transparent Electrode for Photovoltaic Applications by Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet."
During the conference, I made some great friends from UCSD and Busan University. Engaging in discussions and brainstorming with them truly broadened my perspective. They were not afraid to ask even the simplest questions and often presented intriguing ideas to explore.
Overall, I had a fantastic time in Northern California. My friends and I visited a longtime friend of Professor Juang and enjoyed a delightful kayaking experience. We also toured Stanford University to see former MSL visiting scholar, Amy, and had an amazing visit to Yosemite National Park. Moreover, since I am a Christian, I got in touch with the local saints in San Jose and had a nice blending meal together. They even gave us a tour of their company (free boba and snacks! yum!)
